Who are the IIB Accredited Associates?

Accredited Associates have been senior executives or business owners which means they have first-hand experience with the pressure, stress, and joy of running a business. More important, accredited Associates are expected to uphold a Code of Ethics. Violating the Code can result in the loss of accreditation, which would include loss of access to continuing professional development and the worldwide network of IIB Executive Associates.

Selection, Training & Accreditation

Business leader seeking IIB accreditation must pass the Institute's selection process of interviews and assessment. If there is mutual agreement to proceed, the candidate then attends a 5-day development program. To date only 3,500 executives world-wide have achieved status as an accredited Associate.

Continual Professional Development

Once accredited, Associates continue to be supported by the IIB through monthly training workshops and an Internet-based system to exchange information and share expertise both locally and world-wide. This exclusive network allows them to work together on assignments, ensuring clients receive the highest quality service.

The benefit of being supported by an accredited Associate is that they are experienced and provide practical advice that works. The accredited Associates carry out a program of advising owners of small and mid-sized businesses through the Business Support program, which is especially priced for qualified small and mid-sized businesses.
